Quatro SolderPure is ideal for brazing, dedrossing, electroforming, electroplating, laser cutting, marking and soldering applications. Removes acid activator, electrocleaner, rhodium, solder, solvent and wax fumes from the air before you breathe them (not suitable for cyanide).
Features a 4-stage filtration system that captures fumes and particulate down to 0.3 micron: Prefilter captures large particles to extend life of three subsequent filters; High-Capacity Dust Filter captures small particulate; advanced Media Filter formulated for specific applications captures fumes; HEPA Filter captures smallest particulate down to submicron levels.
Three models to choose from based on your specific application:
Rhodium Model removes rhodium and electrocleaner fumes.
Rhodium & Solder Model removes rhodium, electrocleaner and solder fumes.
Solder & Wax Model removes solder and wax fumes.
All units return 99.97% clean air to your workplace, making outside ventilation unnecessary. Includes capture hood with flex arm, which can be flexed and rotated 360° to accommodate any soldering or plating layout. Includes table bracket and 8′ flex hose that can be cut to desired length for remote location as well as casters for good mobility. Installs quickly and easily. Backed by a two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
Note: all units come with 1 complete set of filters installed. Replacement filters are available, see “Related Products” below.
HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) Filters are designed to capture the submicron particles that tend to pass straight through traditional Ashrae-rated filters. These particles—which can come in the form of powders, aerosols, fumes, smoke, molds, spores, bacteria and more—bypass the human respiratory system’s natural defenses, penetrating deep into the lungs where they cannot be expelled and raising long-term health concerns. For this reason, HEPA filters are critical to ensuring safety in environments where small particulate is generated. It is no coincidence that allergists, asthma specialists and air filtration specialists alike recommend HEPA filtration.
Caution: When working with materials that contain silica, such as investment or tripoli, it is wise to wear a properly-rated respirator if exposure levels are high. Airborne respirable silica can be captured with a vacuum or air purifier containing a HEPA filter.
